How often is The Local in Circulation?
The print edition of the local comes out every 2 weeks. New content can be found online, as it is received.
Can I write for The Local?
The short answer is yes. Th long answer is we are always looking for writers with great stories from or for Northwest Colorado. If you live in NWCO, or have ever lived here, we are interested in hearing from you. Although not all articles will make the paper, we will produce content online if it fits with our readers.
If I write for the Local can I do so anonymously?
Although the Local staff will need to know who you are, you can write for the local under a pseudonym.
How do I signup to write for the Local?
Go to the bottom of this page, click on the “Site Login” link and then register for the site. Once registered, send us an email to info@steamboatlocal.org with your username, contact information and tell us you want to write for the Local.
How do I add a Gripe or a Prop?
You have two choices, send us a message from the contact page, or send us an email to: info@steamboatlocal.org
Do I have to subscribe to comment?
Yes, you will have to login to the site to make a comment, but you only need to enter a username and your valid email address, that is only seen by the Local Staff. All other information is voluntary.
My classified didn’t show up right when I submitted. What’s Up?
All classified ads are reviewed by the editor to make sure you get the best exposer for your ad. This can take up to 48 hours to complete, but usually happens much faster.
Can I put pictures into my online classified ads?
Of course, up to 4 pictures! We know pictures tell a thousand words, so please add pictures! We will review those too, so make sure they are approperiate.
